Casa Filadélfia:
The mission of the shelter, Casa Filadélfia, is to welcome children and teenagers, and their family members, who have become social outcasts because of their HIV-positive condition, to take care of their psychological, social and physical needs. That is the mission of the organization which believes among HIV victims, children and teenagers are the ones who suffer the most.
The values of Casa Filadélfia are:
- Respect human life and promote quality of life – “An Abundant Life”;
- Work towards the growth of each individual, respecting each one's individuality and freedom of choice, and understanding how each one plays a role; who is able to interact and intervene in his own reality;
- Based on its participation-oriented outlook, as an organization that promotes voluntary work and funding, develop its work and share its experience so that others may experience the joy of serving;

Casa de Apoio da Pastoral da Saúde da Granja Viana (Granja Viana Health Assistance Center):
The Granja Viana Health Assistance Center is a civil non-profit organization, which provides social assistance and health services.
The group began its activities as a result of a group of ladies who faced a number of difficulties in trying to help those who were sick and in need, ladies who truly lived the motto of helping your peers.
In 1980 with the setting up of an organization dubbed Pastoral da Saúde (Community Health), the group became more robust and had more solid grounding to eventually legally set up the Granja Viana Assistance Center in 1987. Through its volunteer work and specialized paid personnel, the Center provides a number of programs that seek to meet the destitute community needs as a whole.
The mission of the Center is to prevent health problems in destitute communities in the municipality of Cotia, as well as provide rehabilitation services.
